The first consultation is not just a fact finding mission at Gladys Doris Flowers. Katie will listen to you as a couple, learning about your aspirations for the day and getting a feel for the vibe you're looking to create; a person centred, friendly approach. It's important that you enjoy the process as well as the end result.
What to expect
Following your first consultation you will receive a detailed quote, including clear, labelled images of suggested flowers and foliage. At this early stage this includes several different design ideas and options. It is a starting point to give you some inspiration to get excited about.
What next?
Once you've decided you'd like to save the date, the next step is to book a time for a follow-up, usually about three months before the date. Meeting at the venue is an ideal opportunity to walk through the space, visualise and confirm ideas.
There is a £50 deposit to save the date.
On the day
Your flowers will be delivered and set up on the day by Katie. Often Brides are the first stop! Depending on the designs involved, the aim is to have everything set up two hours before the guests arrive. Don't worry, your final invoice will include a detailed itinerary of what will be delivered where and when.
