DIY wedding flowers without the stress!

Happy New Year!

For some of you, now you can finally say you're getting married THIS YEAR! So exciting.  For me, it's that time when I'm busy filling my new diary and month to view calender (my must have item for feeling organised!)  Couples are suddenly on a mission to get their suppliers booked and work through their 'to do' list.  January and February are all about chatting with couples and creating ideas together.

As well as feeling excited about the months ahead, it does make me feel so reflective too.  Weddings last year had such a wonderful variety of colour palettes.  One great option, popular with couples last year, I wanted to share with you was DIY table flowers.

If you love the idea of creating your own wedding flowers but don't want the pressure of making bridal bouquets and fiddley buttonholes, this could be for you.

For Rachel and Lewis, married last August, I provided buckets full of flowers for them to fill mix and match bottles they'd been collecting for the past 12 months.  Conditioned and ready to go, they were divided into buckets and delivered directly to Manor Farm Barn the day before their wedding.  Here family spent the day together arrangeing their beautiful blooms.  It was a fun day spent together and made close family and friends feel part of their special day.

On the day I delivered the Bride and Bridesmaids' bouquets, guest buttonholes and pedestals for the beautiful church next door.  All created from the same selection of flowers, they complemented each other perfectly.

If you fancy making your own displays, don't be shy in asking your florist if they can supply cut flowers too.  It takes the stress out of sourcing your own and ensures the displays work together as a whole.

Please get in touch if you would like to book a consultation.  The first one is free and an informal chat, followed by a detailed quote and page of suggested seasonal flowers and foliage to help you get started.  Just click on Contact Me and send me a message!
